TRAINING

Your first steps with us will probably be the most important that you'll take and your initial training is designed with one thing in mind – to set you up for success.  Our programmes will teach you about our products and processes and your line manager will help you understand our environment and culture – both elements are critically important.

Your training, delivered in partnership with Aviva (formerly Norwich Union), will challenge you but be delivered in a relaxed, structured and easy to follow manner. Our training programme was recently recognised with a National Training Award for ‘Collaboration on Training Innovation’.

We are committed to providing you with the support and assistance you need to successfully complete your training. The aim is to leave the classroom, come off your course and start helping customers right away. Your commitment to the programme is vital to its success and it is important that you do not underestimate the amount of work required to successfully complete it and get your career off to the best possible start.

How is the training structured?

We now use a blend of ‘virtual’ and ‘real’ classroom techniques in order to ensure you transition to your new role effectively. Ready access to trainers online and shared experiences with new colleagues prepares you for each phase. A mix of audio, classroom, one to one coaching and multi-media provides a comprehensive approach to prepare you for your role.

When can I see customers?

Provided you pass all stages of our programme you will be able to see customers within five weeks of training commencement.
